I am a very big fan of “super-natural” books. I mainly read novels about vampires and werewolves. I do like other sci-fi books. I have many favorite authors and have a hard time picking which would be my favorite. I have to admit that I am a fan of Ann Rice, but never got into her vampire series.
I prefer a lighter type of novel. Stories that have some humor. I love reading a book that actually catches me off guard and I burst our laughing. I dont mind blood and gore but its not on the top of my list for what makes a good read. For me to continue a series the first book has to capture my interest. If I find that it takes forever to finish it, I give up on the rest of the series.
I do get into “other” books that my mother might suggest. She is a health nut and very religious. So there are times when she will say “you really need to read this book, it will help you so much”. I’m not really sure if I have ever gotten any “help” from a book she has recommended, but I do read them to please her.
