Today Sir and I saw Batman at the IMAX. It cost 29.00 for the tickets. 17.00 for the drinks and popcorn. Can you say “waste of money”. Ok, the movie was good, I will say that, but it wasnt THAT good. I was expecting a lot more. What I mean is, it was my first time in the IMAX. It was nothing special. I thought it would be “AMAZING”, but it wasnt. I really didnt see any difference. I will never waste extra money to go see a movie in the IMAX.
The movie, well it was good. I did get kind of annoyed listening to Batman’s voice. Ledger did a good job as the Joker. But I think Harvey Dent was better. Maybe its cause I dont like clowns? I think clowns are freaky. As for the fact that instead of a Bat cave Batman now has the “cave” underground in downtown Gotham, makes so much more sense to me. I never understood how he lived at the Mansion outside of town, but always seemed to get into the city within minutes. The new places is a better location.
As always Alfred was superb. I still think Michael Keaton was the best Batman. Anyways, if you havent seen the movie, dont bother with IMAX.
